Normarine is MSC-certified on the sales of Saithe, North Sea and North East Arctic.
Traceability is implemented on all sales from our campany. The fisheries on Cod and Haddock is expected to be MSC-certified later in 2009. Normarine will then apply certification on these species as well.

History
Normarine AS was founded in 1989 by Petter Ludvig Fladmark and partners; Alfon and Kjell Kramer, and Ole Bratholm. Petter had since 1961 served as managing director in Brodr. Aarsaether AS - for decades Norway's leading seafood company.
The activity in Normarine was sales of frozen white-fish products from factories throughout the Norwegian coast. The main markets were USA, UK, Germany and France.
In year 2000 Normarine bought the cold store company Sunnmore Fiskeindustri AS. This is a landing site, terminal and coldstore - located in the city of Aalesund, same place as the offices of Normarine AS. The cold store is also supplying bait to the longliner fleet of vessels in the Aalesund area. www.sfias.no
Normarine has gradually grown and developed, today a well established seafood export company serving a wide range of customers world wide. This in close cooperation with producers, mainly in the Frozen At Sea sector.
